In the role of planning secretary, you will work with development, follow-up, and training related to the association life in Malmö. This means that you will investigate and prepare cases for the administration's board, educate representatives of associations, and be responsible for overarching processes involving colleagues from different units and other instances. The position is particularly focused on investigative work and follow-up of agreements. Furthermore, support within the department regarding children's rights and issues related to disabilities is included.
To enable the best possible development of the association life, you will also be part of other tasks occurring in the unit, which includes disbursement of grants.
The association life we work with is broad and encompasses everything from large to smaller associations and organizations. The activities of the associations vary from, for example, football, martial arts, and basketball to dance, outdoor activities, and associations and organizations that run meeting places for Malmö residents and general gathering places for associations.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with a suitable university or college education with a social science focus or other education that the employer assesses as equivalent. You have experience writing reports and investigations. You have experience working in a politically governed organization and knowledge of children's rights and disabilities.
Experience in voluntary association life, for example through board or leadership assignments, is an advantage. Likewise, if you have previous experience working with follow-up and case management in the public sector, that is beneficial. If you have previous experience working with statistics, we see this as a plus. We believe that you are interested in social issues and strive for all Malmö residents to be able to participate in Malmö's association life. Therefore, experience in training for the association life and support in the development of the association life is advantageous.
As you will collaborate with the association life, it is important that you have knowledge of and interest in Malmö's association life and can meet people from all levels of the association sector.
Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing is a prerequisite for the position. If you are multilingual, we see this as an advantage. Basic knowledge of data and IT is also considered a prerequisite for the position.
To fit in the role with us, you work goal-oriented and enjoy working project-oriented with deadlines. You are proactive and used to taking your own initiatives within the framework of your assignment. You are communicative and enjoy collaborating in a humble manner with others. It is also important that you can work with investigations while simultaneously managing smaller processes and maintaining good communication with colleagues, Malmö residents, and representatives of the association life. You have an easy time structuring and organizing your work, and you can prioritize and adapt if the situation requires it.
In addition, personal suitability for the position will be considered.
